This week the Our Daily Bread Designs Shining the Light challenge is using white or ivory and your optional choice of one other color. I love Matthew 19:6 verse for a wedding card and used it with white and a soft pastel optional color. I used one of the new July release sets, Love Scriptures. I think the lovely fonts make a nice centerpiece for the card. Since I have a couple of requests to make wedding cards for friends, I enjoyed working with this new release set this week and last.

Cheryl, you have again created a beautiful card. The colors so soft and pretty, the elegant layers, and that wonderful verse of truth of marriage in the Lord. So proud of You!

Simply exquisite, Cheryl - I've never used this verse for a wedding card before, but I LOVE it, especially with the gorgeous fonts by which it's portrayed - and your choice of colour with the white is clean and fresh, yet elegant - lovely, lovely layers all framed up!

Cheryl, this is beautiful. Lovely color choice. And boy, do I like the newest release stamp sets from ODBD. I think you're right too, the fonts are beautiful and you did such a nice job softening the outer edge of your center die. I have two Golden Wedding cards to create and I don't want to wait until the last minute (I better get my stamps ordered). Both couples are very long time friends of ours - both navy couples. What a blessing to continue our friendships into our golden years (we're not far behind). We celebrate our 45th in October. Beautiful card, Cheryl.
