Today's Ways to Use It challenge is to use metal hardware (i.e. brads, eyelets, etc.). I have a box of brads that sit in a drawer rarely used so it was a good opportunity to pull it out. I saw the star brads in the box and, because I'm working on my July quota of Christmas cards for the Christmas Card Challenge, was inspired to do a card with stars that would incorporate a star brad. I used stars 5 different ways in the card:
1. my new Kaiser star stamp, stamped and heat embossed in gold.
2. I cut it out with a Spellbinders star-shaped ornament die that more or less fits it.
3. A background embossed with a starry embossing folder.
4. I attached the stamped die cut star to the background with the star brad.
5. My sentiment (stamped and heat embossed in gold) also talks about stars.
I really love stars (in case you couldn't guess!).

Well done you! I'm still trying to finish my June quota, first time ever I've been so far behind. This is very elegant, the star theme carried across all the different elements works so well. I have some star brads too, but they're all coloured ones and harder to use except on kids cards. Nothing like as classy as yours .
