Love your card! I couldn't see the other card in the link either. Got a message that said I didn't have permission ????
TFS! I'm going to try this technique. I like the layered look but sometimes I think cards get too heavy with too much layering. This solves that problem!
I LOVE pumpkin and apricot together!!! I also had no luck on the other link...Can you share the faux tearing or tell us where to find the directions? Pretty Please with apricots on top!!!??? TFS
1. Ink up Linen bg with pumpkin pie ink and ink up apricot appeal card front.
2. Tear your copy paper on the long side. Place this over your apricot card front and position it where you want it. Tape the paper down to your scrap paper. Take your sponge and using pumpkin pie ink dab color over exposed area. Do not remove card from under the copy paper.
3. Ink up Dots & Daisies bg with pumpkin pie ink and lay over the top of your sponged cardstock and press down firmly. May need to stand to do this part if it is easier. Remove cardstock from under copy paper and your Faux Tearing is complete.
4. Stamp up focal images and words as shown and assemble. Add embellishments and attach to card front.
