I am signed up for another Online Card Class, which I love! This time it’s Summer Card Camp 2, which is three weeks long. I’ve never taken an online class for that length of time, so it will be interesting to see what we learn–and if I can keep up with the assignments!
In advance of the class, we have a pre-class challenge to design a card based on a sketch. ItÂ’s a pretty simple sketch focusing on three circles and a banner.
As you can see, I didn’t do a lot of stamping, except for the Fiskars birthday sentiment. I am loving this 6 x 6 paper pack from Kathy Davis GCD Studios, Hello Sunshine. It’s filled with bright colors and fun images that are perfect for birthdays. All the papers on the card come from this same pack. And yes, the circles are supposed to be “wonky.” There are whole pages filled with the circular images, so I decided to cut out three for my card.
I tied a purple and white piece of twine at the top and rounded the card corners for the final touch.
Please let me know what you think. Thanks for looking!
