This card, is for Thursday,6/20/13 challenge, WT432. Very versatile vellum. All my cs, is from a local craft shop. I used my dotted swiss ef, from Darice. I used water color pencils, to color. My cs colors, are turquoise, white, and pale blue. I stamped a row of trees, on the pale blue, then I layered it with vellum. I cut the scalloped layers, with my Spellbinders scallop die. I stamped a hat, on the vellum layer, and colored it with pencils. I added a dragonfly gem, and some turquoise gems, and a bow. Thanks for a great challenge, and thanks for looking.

I like the vellum overlay giving the background trees a look of being in the distance. And that hat has so much more dimension that I actually thought it was another layer!
Such a beautiful bg for your roses. I wouldn't have thought of a forest scene. The vellum really gives your bg alot of depth. Your roses are just beautiful and I love the blue gems. Makes me think of dew droplets early in the morning just before the fog (in your bg) lifts. TFS

Great layering with the vellum! Adds so much interest with the trees in the distance.
