This card was my first try at making chevrons...through Pinterest (too addicted to pinterest) I found a link to a tutorial that Julia Stainton from Belle Papier made to make some neat chevrons. Julia's tuturial is to make chevrons for scrapbooking and I did make some for a scrapbook page...but I also wanted them smaller to put on a greeting card. So Julia, I hope you don't mind I took some creative license and Halved your dimensions to make the chevrons smaller...
My butterflies were colored with copics by my husband, and I fussy cut them to put on them on my card.

These chevrons look AWESOME!! You really came up with a HAPPY CARD, considering all the nasty weather that is all over, this is a breath of spring! You can bet I will be checking out that tutorial too!
