When I saw today's ways to use it challenge was to use cork, I immediately thought of this new stamp I won during HYCCT that hadn't yet seen ink and decided it was time to break it in. I stamped my shore birds in Early Espresso on Pool Party then added some Pool Party clouds above them. After searching long and hard for my cork sheets, I cut a strip to act as sand. I stamped my sentiment below and then scored beneath that for accent as the sentiment ended up a little higher than I'd planned. Next time I'll use my stamp positioner so that the horizon stays level!

What a wonderful stamp - it reminds me of the sandpipers from Shore Thing which were my introduction to SU. Using cork for the beach is just perfect.
