I had no idea why I was holding on to this frame, I didn't like the gold and it didn't have a very nice looking print in it. We've had it stored for YEARS and was about to get rid of it, had it in the "get rid of it" pile......but it kept calling me and I had nothing to lose. I never would of thought of using really rust for the flower print, but I fell in love with how it turned out! The flower (petals) were cut out from my first attempt and used it to cover up a mistake on the second print.....one of my favorite mistakes. Floral bg was stamped randomly on the mat since the first attempt came out SO BAD! Sponging also covered up what I thought would be unfixable. I was about to put it together until I saw a copper colored cording on my floor.......looks like a bunch of mistakes came together to make one of my favorite frames!
