Today we were to use newspaper on our card. Imagine my surprise when I came across these snowmen on a page in my paper! hehe Then I saw this card of the new QFTD, gabalot and the rest is history so to speak.
I glued part of my newspaper to cs then printed out a digi on it. You didn't think I really found these in the paper did you? Colored them with chalk pencils.
Printed out another set on cs and cut them out for my window. Did some sponging, faux stitching and actual stamping with a snow bg that I white eb.
Put this all on a gold card popping up my top panel.
Well, Gabby have a great reign as the new Queen. Loved your gallery. Wendy, thanks for the fun challenge. Have a great weekend all.....TFL :0)

terrific card, love the snowmen printed on the newspaper and how you cut out a window for them. The faux stitching looks great and accents the snowmen nicely.

Fantastic card, Cathy! Love that you printed the digi on the newspaper and colored it. Even when I attempted to color on newspaper w/a SU marker, it saturated through, looked awful and weakened the fibers so the newspaper got holes in it. Wish I knew more about how you successfully colored it. Thank you for coming to my "party" today! Tell Curt hello and won't you both have a nice weekend?!
