Hi friends. I'm taking one of the Online Card Classes and our challenge today was to make a 3 x 3 mini card and this is mine. I haven't gotten around to the other challenge yet of making cool cards that can be easily mass produced but will be burning the midnight oil doing that.
I used Our Daily Bread Designs Gift of God and Sacred Season as they are perfect matching sets with pinecones and great sentiments. This is very clean and simple. I just cut my card stock, cut a couple of 1/8" strips of designer series paper and adhered them to the top and bottom of the white panel, stamped my image and colored it in with Copic markers. For my "snow," I used my favorite Quickie Glue Pen, which is the best for control, and sprinkled some Dazzling Diamonds over the glue. I stamped another pine cone image onto my envelope using Desert Sand by Memento ink and since it's very light, you can easily write the recipients name and it will be seen. On the back of my envelope, I stamped scripture with SU Real Red to tie in the red from the front of the card. The base of my card is SU Early Espresso and my image is stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black.
For these stamp sets and more Christian stamp sets, be sure to check out Our Daily Bread Designs!
For a disclaimer, although I am a Stampin' Up! Independent Demonstrator, I will use my Christian stamps at will to spread the gospel and share the love of Jesus Christ. I will not deny my Father in Heaven over an IDA and this also violates my religious freedom rights by telling me that I cannot express my faith how I see fit. So, off the soapbox.
I hope that you enjoyed this card and thank you so much for looking. God bless you and your day!
