I bought a pack of 6 turquoise spectrum noir markers to give them a try. The color is nice and bold, the markers are really juicy....but, they made my memento ink bleed across the paper even when I had heat set it first! Luckily this is an easy to trim image so I could still use them. I'm leaning toward sticking with my good old prisma pencils and OMS at this point.
I put the strip with the flowers on a matching card first, but it just looked too bridal/anniversary, so I switched to a gray card base. The bling was bright silver, so I toned it down with a black bic perm. marker. It is still metallic, but in more of a distressed way which I think suits a sympathy message better.
