The oval panel is cut using the Nestabilities Beaded Oval die and itÂ’s popped up with foam tape on the card. For the areas that are below or between the designer paper layers I layered the same thickness under the foam so the panel lies even on the card.
The Perfect Layers tools from Perfect Paper Crafting was used to cut the borders. Use any brand craft knife or rotary cutter for cutting. A tutorial video can be found on the company site. And I use these tools often and thought IÂ’d show you a before and after photo so you can see the difference that tiny border can make to the card design. To each their own but I think the borders add a lot to a clean and simple layout.
The holly leaves are cut with a Cheery Lynn die, lightly embossed using a metal ball stylus. I used tape to hold the two larger together then AleeneÂ’s tacky glue to attach the smaller one along with the berries which were cut using the Cuttlebug Tiny Tags die. The berries were covered with AleeneÂ’s Paper Glaze and glitter sprinkled over the top and I do this after they are attached to the leaves. The holly leaves were ink distressed.

Beautiful colouring of Mo's image! I have it but I've never made it look this good. :-) I like the way you have mounted it. That's a great background. TFS
