Jeanne gave us a real free for all challenge...we had to pick a technique from the resources and a previous challenge. I choose to try the black magic technique and used a prior sketch challenge SC277. I liked the black magic one..I did use a rather detailed image so I hope it shows up well. I think perhaps a bolder one might work better although I don't own a lot of those. I added some white gel pen highlights and also some copper ones as well.

How cool is that?!!! I have not even seen this technique (at least I don't recall). It looks like a chalk board! I think that is an amazing stamp you used too! The only color I am having trouble seeing, is the copper. Otherwise, all the colors are great and the white out line and highlighting works perfectly! Awesome card, Pol!!!

I like how your black magic turned out with your detailed stamp, Polly. The angel has an ethnic, folk art look to me which makes it all the more interesting. Wonderful colors and patterns to go with it and your lovely sentiment.

Love the dps you chose with that "black magic" technique angel. That is a technique I love, and you did a wonderful job on it. And that sentiment is wonderful. I never thought of using a gold gel pen along with the white one. Will give that a try next time I do this
