I'm inspired by my daughter, Hannah and her dog, Opie for this card. Opie was one of our foster pups and we learned at 8 weeks old that she was deaf. We put hours into her training and just couldn't bear to part with her. Hannah and Opie are almost inseparable now, 1 1/2 years later.

Such cute card and a wonderful story to match! How wonderful! Growing up, we had a dog with just three legs. It so wonderful of you and your daughter to love Opie so much! We adopted a dog that a week later we found out via our vet was a senior - already 8 years old - via her tatoo. Well, you don't return dogs back anymore than you would take a child back, so we are enjoying her golden years - she is nearly 13 .
