Biker friends of DH are expecting their first baby today - we hope it arrives not too late because there's a big rally on the week after next! I thought that the balloons would make a nice, if rather unconventional, congratulations card. The Basic Grey paper gave me good gender-neutral colours to work with.
6" base. Base paper stitched, edges sponged with ColorBox Pigment Lettuce. I stamped the Verve balloon and a Hero Arts sentiment. The balloon was pieced with more paper from the BG pad, and kraft for the basket. The banner paper was cut with MFT's jumbo scallops, the top is attached to the base, the scalloped edge is popped up on foam dots.
