Kathy's great challenge for the CCEE Stampers this week was to make a nautical-type card, i.e., ship, boat, lighthouse, etc.
Lots of wrinkle free distress for my backgrounds – antique linen for manifest, weathered wood and stormy sky with glimmer mist for background. Rubbernecker Cheesecloth stamped with Smokey Grey Versafine.
Open Sea boat masked, sky sponged with Spun Sugar, Victorian Velvet, Antique Linen, Weathered Wood. I used three different brown inks to make the faux wood and then cut a circle frame with Nestabilities. ODBD sentiment is stamped over the manifest background with Smoky Grey, edges torn.
If you'd like to share your nautical creations be sure to link on the blog or use the CCEE1224 keyword.

Wow! Love this card and the cheesecloth is an awesome touch...pretty skies, too. Wonderful verse.

Lots of ships/boats in the gallery today. This is great, Sabrina. Your coloring of the sky is awesome, and I suppose the fact that your frame looks like a porthole is no coincidence!
