I have done this before but thought perhaps I should share the idea....
For some occasions I will use a sheer white bag as the "envelope" for a card. It is such a pretty way to hand over a card - particularly for a wedding or a special birthday. I get them at the dollar store (one packet, 3 different sizes). I will also use some of the colourful, patterned bags too - also sheer but of course the card image is obscured a bit. Still, very effective.
Hope people like this idea.

Carolynn, thank you for your sweet comment on my owl wedding card, so I came over to visit your terrific gallery. I love this idea for a bulky/type cards. I was going to mail my card to the bride & groom in a special box but you know us artist after putting in all this work I didn't want to put it in any kind of paper envelope. Your idea is brilliant! This makes a wonderful special presentation. TFS!
