When I finished with my banner card (WT378 Father's Day Banners by Katchoo1 at Splitcoaststampers) I had a 3.5" x 11" strip of cream cardstock left, plus two inches from the strips I had cut for the banners. I decided to make a gift card holder with the leftover bits. I trimmed 1/2" off the width of the card so that 5 1" scraps would fill the space across. Then I cut each 2" strip into 1" squares and played with them til I had a good mix (I did have to cheat and use some flip sides of the double sided paper that are not in the original card, in order to make the pattern work out!) I measured the center point of the length of the card and 1" to either side and drew light guidelines, then added several strips of roll on adhesive and attached the squares. I stamped the sentiment and added ribbon and buttons to coordinate with the main card. Very satisfying to use up all the extra bits! TFL!

I like the quilt like look of this... such a great layout. Masculine cards are hard for me because I have no stamps to fit... but this could be made into anything! TFS! xoxo
