This card gave me fits! First trying to match the subtle colors in the background paper, and then trying to get the whole thing together. I started by covering a white card with Fancy Pants designer paper which already had some built in swirls. Then I stamped the snowflake swirl from an Autumn Leaves set of Christmas/winter stamps. I stamped it once and embossed in Kaleidascope embossing powder (Judikins) and again in detail platinum. I wanted silver on the card but am not sure I like this one. If I did it again I might just stick with the kaleidascope. I cut a scrap of the Fancy Pants paper from the other, coordinating side and rounded the corners. I stamped the greeting (Studio G) in pink chalk ink. Then I punched snowflakes out of pink glitter paper and used dimensionals to attach them. I finished off with some rhinestones in clear and pink.
This is also my first card for June CCC. I think this month I am going to make 8 single cards rather than groups of 4 or 8, which is getting tedious. This way I can get more complicated! That said, I may revisit this design for some tweaking...

This is so very pretty! I love the soft colours and that pretty dp. It may have taken you some time, but you matched the colours up perfectly! I love the pink snowflakes!

This turned out beautifully. I would have never thought to use these colors in a Christmas card - but it is very nice and beautifully done.
