I made two of these for ladies in my "Naomi" S.S. class in larger format (4.75 x 6.75).
I wasn't real happy with how this turned out. For one thing the bow was too hard to attach and was too bulky. I had to use extra postage to mail. This also uses more layers that usual for me - light gray, black, white, and charcoal gray cs, plus the sentiment and bow.
I embossed the charcoal layer then sanded it. The sentiment is computer generated.

Well, even if you had to add extra postage, I'd still say this is a winner. It's SO elegant!! I'm sure it made the day of its recipient.

Too bad you had to pay extra postage for this. That's the reason I keep most of my cards without too much embellishment! I love the embossed layer and how you sanded it down. On the gray, it becomes very elegant!

Oh, I think this is beautiful..love the colors and the sanding was the perfect thing to do. Your ribbon is gorgeous and it is all worth the extra postage. Someone is going to love receiving this card.
