I started with the sketch for My Favorite Things' Guest Designer contest this month, although I didn't intend to enter the challenge. I left off the horizontal layers, as it was just too much for my card. But I used the super cute Pure Innocence You Make the Grade stamp and substituted into her hand the paint brush from the new Artist Palette and Brush Die-namics set so she looks like she's painting on an easel instead of writing on a chalkboard. I used the palette itself with the little blobs of "paint" die cuts in the spectrum of colors (ROYGBIV!) . The sentiment is from the Clearly Sentimental About Art set, which is the "Triple Scoop" Promotional set this month. I stamped it and cut with just the long edge of the Textile Rectangle Die-namics.
The PI girl's sweater and skirt are paper-pieced. And the paint blobs and larger heart on the canvas are popped for dimension.
Papers are BG Shine On.
Love how cheery and colorful it turned out.
