I am going to have to try this. Love it.

This is a very easy card to make. It is not really a template. For the main card you cut cardstock 4 1/4 X 11. Score at 5 1/2. Cut off an inch on one end (save), corner round all 4 corners. Then take any symmetrical shape (heart, shamrock, tree, etc) and cut in half, add tabs to either side for taping onto back of card. (I guess thats where you can turn the symmetrical shape into a template with added tabs).
The lock to hold the heart together is just 2 circles punched that is glued on and cut half way up to the middle and the other side is cut half way down. They slide into each other. Attach one side first, then line up the other side to match.
For the inside, take the one inch strip and score it at one inch intervals, you should have a little bit left for a side tab for taping into a box for the pop-up part. Attach pop up box at bottom of card. Cut out a big heart for inside and snip off the bottom of the heart. Use heart hole punch to help fill up the blank space where the pop up attaches.
You might want to put together the inside first so you will know how high to put the outside heart so that the inside heart doesn't show.
