For the Ways to Use it challenge Cathy is challenging us to use re-inkers and I used them in a most unusual way and this could also be done to make an overall background.
The splash of paint was created by putting a medium sized dot of ink on glossy paper and using the Perfect Airbrush (tool index on left) tool to blow the ink out into a splatter formation and to give more depth to the image I added a very small drop of darker ink and you can see another card I used this tool on using a marker, it's uploaded here on SCSÂ… click here .
repeated the process with much less force on the squeeze.
For the footprints I used a rubber stamp image and inked up in red but also placed the rubber into the not yet dry splatter of ink and began to stamp across the panel without reinking the rubber.
I used the Perfect Layers tools from Perfect Paper Crafting to cut the perfect borders. Use any brand craft knife for cutting. A tutorial video can be found on the company site.
Copic markers for coloring the image: R22,27,32,46, B79,99, C1,3,5,7
The dog image was cut out and popped up with layered heavy carpet tape.
The tiny stars on the navy border were cut using the Cuttlebug and Snowflakes die, when I want just one image from the die in this case the stars…I punch ¼” circles and place them over the star on the die and run through the machine. They are attached to the card using a stick pin dipped in Aleene’s tacky glue, touch the back of the glue to the back of the star which picks it up, place on the card, press down with the finger and pull away the pin then slide the star into position if needed.

What a great technique and a super cute card!! They do leave their paw prints, and bring in the grass when it is mulched, but I wouldn't be without them. :>)
