A card that addresses two challenges: a nice CAS sketch by stampercamper and an assignment from today's Online Card Making Class, to use a die cut as an embellishment.
I die-cut the umbrella out of red cardstock, cut the handle off and used a marker to darken it. The next steps were to "pop" the middle umbrella section with layers of foam, and to cover the red portion with glossy accents. The whole thing went on a shimmery, stormy blue cardstock. A few rhinestone embellishments were added to represent rain.
