CC366 Daffodil Party Parade (03-13-12)
Mary's colors for Challenge 366 are
Daffodil Delight, Pool Party, Poppy Parade, neutrals: white or vanilla
Dessert Option- seam binding or ribbon
Here's the breezeway door to my pool, THAT IS - IF I HAD A POOL!
I used the memory box window die to make a door by cutting the white card stock to the length that would allow me to utilize the panes in the die to cut easily. (Door is 4.25 high by 2 wide.) By cutting of the way through the window die and fitting the remaining portion and cutting 2/3 of the way you can have a paned door!
I added a chrome brad spread open and a partial white wreath (memory box die) with small daisies of an EK success punch.
The door was a previous experiment that actually worked!
I love your fresh and bright colors Mary!
Thanks for viewing!

Loved this card as soon as I saw it! You are one innovative gal and I love what you have created with this die. Your colours are a perfect choice and the whole design is very pleasing.

Clever use of your window die, Angela, it looks just like a door, and what a beautiful spring wreath! (And doesn't pool party make a great shade for wallpaper!)

I can just imagine the beautiful pool that might be behind that gorgeous door. Fabulous idea using the window as a door like that, gets even more use out of the die. Neat idea for the door know and such a lovely sunny wreath to finish it all off. Wonderful papers too. TFS. : )
