Today's Inspiration Challenge is the website of A Cool Breeze - I chose this fan: Poppy Fan
The background color reminded me of kraft which I used for the card base and then masked the poppies to sponge a similar shade of distress ink. I also sponged one side of the embossing folder with the same ink before embossing and stitching.

Your poppies really "pop" against that kraft ink! And your embossed bg with the same ink really is a standout with the red..I love everything about this!

Guess I'm gonna have to break down and get out my old Brothers sewing machine (won't use my Husqrvana on paper) and start sewing on my cards..........I just love how it looks on your card. The colors are amazing Bridget. Wonderful card as usual !!

What a beautiful card, Bridget. Love your "clear" looking poppies and shaded bg and the EF you used for the faux letterpress technique...exquisite looking.
