 | | I'm enjoying all the bright and cheery rainbow challenge cards, so here's my rainbow version of this wonderful birthday candles card by mandypandy:

After I cut the 1/2 x 2 3/4 inch strips of cardstock for the candles, I embossed them with the Floral Fantasy folder. For placement on the white textured cardstock, I started with the center green candle and then measured 3/16 inches between them.
The flames are made using the Bird Builder punch and So Saffron cardstock. I sponged the lower half with Pumpkin Pie and then the very bottom with Dusty Durango. The tips are glittered using a glue pen. They are shaped by rolling them around an SU! marker, then mounted on dimensionals.
The sentiment is stamped with Verafine Onyx Black ink and embossed with clear EP. The red border is created with a stamp from the new Tagtastic hostess set and a Real Red marker on just the border portion. |
