I think when I made this card I had just gotten the scalloped spellbinder die and the big pack of paper from JoAnn's. The black sparkly paper pretty much matched the crumb cake paper from SU. I've just recently started playing with patterned paper and finding out that I really like it. The border punch on the bottom kinda matches the scallops of the paper too.
