I saw the sugar jar idea to store twine in a CKC magazine & on SCS too. I purchased 2 different styles of jars at the Dollar Tree. I used the sugar jar for my full skeins of twine. I also purchased a shaker jar...it has a lot of holes in the top. I had small amounts of several colors of twine so I wrapped them around a piece of cardstock and placed several of them in the container. Then I pulled the end through the holes. I love these jars because its so easy to see the colors.

I've seen those ideas too with a sugar shaker, but this is great for using small quantities of twine in one container. Very smart. I am waiting to get a big spool of twine, but this will be great for use in the meantime!
