I'm trying to get back into the swing of things now that my nieces & nephews are gone, home school has resumed and we're trying to get back to "normal" So, I'm meeting both the Monday challenges with the Technique challenge to make "something wet" and the CAS challenge to feature beverages. This is also a continuation of Saturday's Inspiration challenge where I saw this picture http://www.etsy.com/listing/72434859...red-flour-sack of a teapot with filigree steam.
I stamped the first coffee cup then masked and stamped the 2nd. I used my blender pen and ink on the ink pad lids to color these. I used a versamarker and clear ep to emboss the steam although I couldn't get it to show up in the picture. The spoon has silver leafing pen. The edges are slightly sponged. I layered this over a ribbon and my base which I stamped with the Baroque Motif flourish. I embossed my sentiment in black ep. I had intended this to be a one layer card, but the proportions just weren't right so I ended up cutting it and layering onto a base of Lucky Limeade.

Lovely ribbon, and very tempting looking coffee cups. Our maker is acting up - if I foam milk or try to make a cappuccino, then the espresso part stops working :-(.

This is so cute. I like how you used the Baroque Motif stamp on the card base. Gives that feel of the steam coming up from the cups. I also like how you put the cups in the circle. Super cute card.
