Happy new Year! Wondering why is she making a Christmas card? Never a better time to work on your cards for next year. Some of us dirty girls are working ahead for Christmas 2012 with a little challenge each month. This month our challenge is *something new* new stamps, new paper, ribbons or even a new technique. If you would like to play along just use the keyword SCSCCJAN12 for us to find your Christmas creations.
For mine I used the new stamp set I got last week called Christmas Joy from SweetnSassy Stamps. Cardinals are traditionally red however these creamy browns and burgundy was talking to me today. I added a little toasted almond sheer ribbon and some gold cord. The circle Spellbinders tag was too big so I made my own with the smaller circle and cut the square design in half and adhered it to the edges. hee hee easy peasy! The sparkle is not showing much however there is some on the pine branches. Thanks for looking.

Beautiful card, Stacy! Love the non-traditional colors and keep wanting to say this fits the DD "Text Me" gallery - lol! Guess that's history, but it sure was a fun theme!

Oooo...smart DG's! I so need to get on board with this too- it took me forever for my CAS cards last year. Stac, this image is beautiful, and your papers and creamy looking pearls are quite delish!
