Our Twisted Sistahs challenge for the week was presented by Tater. She asked us to make a card that represents the good things about winter. She said we'd get bonus points if we included a cardinal. I used up some scraps to make the little punch art cardinal. The best part about winter is the snow; however, we've had none so far this winter. They say we'll get our first snowfall in two to three weeks. I can't wait!! If you'd like to join us for this challenge, please use TSC1230 in your keywords. Thanks for taking a peek!!
CA this is so pretty! I am sitting at my dining room table with my laptop so I can watch all the pretty cardinals at my bird feeder. I may have to case this for some of my cards for 2012! You always make such pretty cards.
Thank you so much for posting this. I love it. My mom died 2 weeks ago and she LOVED cardinals. How did you make it? I would love to make thank you cards with a cardinal.

Oh, CA, how pretty! The embossing, sentiment and cardinal are all lovely!! As a kid, I always loved Winter - sledding, ice skating, skiing - no school! But, now I'm not fond of it al all - and usually wait impatiently for Spring!

Oh, CA! How wonderful that you transformed that SU bird punch into a sweet cardinal!! Am I correct in guessing that you did the main body once and the wing 2 times to do his wings and once for the 'crown' on his head ? YOU ARE SO CLEVER!! - Your cards always have IMPACT - even the C&S ones, and I love that!! May I "case" this for my class? LYMI- hugs!
