For this week's tea-party. I could have sworn I had some perfect paper, but after checking all my drawers I remembered using it up for some jaguar-themed ATCs. So I swiped two sheets of DH's origami paper instead, and just sponged it up a bit. This restricted what I was able to make, as the origami paper is only 5" square.
I stuck two sheets to some thin card and used a Klutz template to cut a little purse. Stitched the back and front before gluing them together. I added some photo-corners with rounded corners and circles punched from metallic card in the bottom corners. I'll personalise the little name holder when I know what this will be used for, and also make a relevant insert when I have more free time. Name holder and closure are both WRMK hardware, and a magnetic snap holds it closed.
Being Christmas I think it's time somebody brought some mince pies along to the tea-party, so that's what I have to offer.
I hope everybody had a lovely holiday and enjoyed time off with family and friends.

Oh Sabrina, this is such a delightful bag! Love the hardware... it's perfect, and when the tag is personalized, it will be a very cool gift bag for some lucky recipient!

Sabrina, this is a wonderful bag!! Wouldn't this be grand in a larger tote! I love how you have embellished this fine bag with the corner punch and nameplate and button/snap hardware!! So classy and stylish!!
So you used some of DH's origami paper, pray tell, what does he make?

This is just gorgeous Sabrina..I absolutely love everything on it. It looks sooo real. I copied the outline of it. I didn't have no clue to where to go to make a purse, and when I seen yours I didn't think u'd care if I just copied the shape of it.
But after that everything else is different...

Only you could put mince meat pies in a cute little purse like this and get them to the teaparty in once piece! Ha! I love, love, love this Sabrina! Wowza, did you ever ace this challenge. What a fun little paper purse.....complete with name tag! Now that's whut I am talking about, all of the other teapotters might loose their purses but you brought along a name tag! Brilliant! Whoot!

What a snazzy pocketbook (as us Southern gurls would say!!!). Great job on the fly and about that mince...it was my mother-in-loves very favorite pie and I would always make one, JUST one for her during the holidays. We never had that tradition.
