I know everyone will want to know how to make this fabulous Christmas tree, so I have decided to reveal it in my Zee Fruitcake's Zecret Fake Blog, which means, I'll tell you about it here - LOL!
Step One: Get in Car
Step Two: Make Sure You Have Plastic or $
Step Three: Don't forget your 50% coupon
Step Four: Get Out GPS So You Won't Get Lost
Step Five: The GPS should be set to nearest
Michael's
Step Six: Get out of car, put on a blindfold so
you don't buy more than this one
item. DO NOT UNDER ANY
CIRCUMSTANCES enter the store
until you rent a certified dog trained
to sniff out the one item you need.
Step Seven: Have the dog sniff out the Jolee's
section at Michael's in the sticker
section. When you see the glow
of gold light through your blindfold
it's time to tell your dog to "FETCH"!
Step Eight: Go directly to the checkout - DO NOT
pass the MS punches.
Step Nine: If the cashier won't accept your
credit card b/c she needs to see your
face to verify it is you, you may then,
and only then, remove the blindfold.
Step Ten: With that much effort, I think you
might consider just stamping a tree
and bling it to death. It would save
time, gas $, a blindfold, the rental
fee for the trained craft sniffing dog
and the slight possibility you will go
on a binge and spend all your $ on
things you'll forget you even have.
I hope this tutorial has been helpful to you. If only I could show you this actual procedure live on YouTube, I'm sure you would know EXACTLY how it is done!!!!
This was fun to write. But, back to more holiday cards. I just couldn't pass up using this beautiful tree on a card. It was from my old scrapbook stash which I never have time to do any more.
Thanks for taking a look and BUYER BEWARE!

P.S. I finally used my gold leaf pen over the faux stitching and around the nestie the image is affixed to. I always loved ctorina's (Cathleen) use of a gold leaf pen and had to try one out. I used it to color the branches too as my punch almost broke trying to go through some thick gold paper!!!

Superb card! I'm in awe, but am still laughing about the "How To" portion of your post. Have had similar experiences in past, and am sure to have more in my future! Thanks for sharing your wonderful sense of humour!

What an awesome dimensional tree and I love how it is decorated! I love all the other elements on this card too....the small ornaments, the gold branches and the use of all the other gold too!

Pamzi, this is one of the funniest posts I have ever read. Your sense of humor is stunning and so is this card! Wow! I have to tell you, I studied that tree a long time before I read the post - I was trying to figure out how you did it. I guessed it was the scalloped circle punchez and diez - I was just stuck on the how to get them folded like that part. Amazing technique - I am going to try it this weekend, but I am going to bring my DH instead of a dog (he will be very effective as he hates to go in there and he hates to spend money). Your blog is one of the best out there you know?
Back to the card, the details are wonderful and I love the gold pen trim - really makes the cutz stand out!! Wonderful card! Hugz to you siz!
