It has been awhile since I have done the CC challenge. BUT after seeing all the beautiful cards in the gallery with the colors Julia chose for today, I just couldn't resist......
This card also has a little story. The neighbor down the street has this darling moose image hanging on the front of her house that I have been wanting to sketch. I ran into the husband at the mailbox and asked if I could take a photo of it explaining how I love to sketch things and make them into cards. He laughed and said sure.
SO I did just that. As I was walking away I apologized for being the "crazy" neighbor. He chuckled even louder! So happy to make people laugh! hehe....
Took the photo, printed it out and then sketched it. The original had a sign saying "Every Birdie Welcome" which I left off.
Since I couldn't print this on kraft, I had to cheat a little. I stamped it on white cs, then stamped over it using a wood bg and latte ink then clear eb it making it appear to be made out of wood which IRL it was. Filled in with re-inker of same color. Then cut it out.
On the kraft card I stamped SU-sanded using versamark then white eb it.
Cut out a squiggly oval and rubbed the pear pizzaz over it making a plaid look, then added the black lines on the edge.
Put this altogether popping up the antler and part of the grass. Added the ribbon/box and button.
Well, hope you like this sketched moose. Have a great evening all!.....TFL :0)

I was wondering who made the stamp - I should've known! This is too cute - hope the neighbor gets to see this great result.
I like the effect of the green plaid as well as the rest of the bg.

Even though you are in my computer's "favorites" I had to favorite this one! Cathy, you have outdone yourself here, Crazy Lady and all!! I love this moose!! I can just picture this moose and the snowman bird feeder you did awhile back, in a yard making all that see them, smile with cheer in their hearts!
I am so glad that you did the CC today!!

Love this moose! Like the other posters, I was going to ask about the stamp also! The green behind him is fantastic and love the idea of stamping the wood background on him.
