Hello everyone, most of you know ive broken my ankle on both sides and had to have surgery and metal plates and screws put in. this has changed my life, and im now crafting from my bed...LOL i can laugh now but i wasnt laughing just days ago.
Anyways while i spend all my time in bed with my leg up, I decided to decorate my cast with Really Reasonable Ribbons and Trims.
Ive also added some buttons, brads(cut off the backs) and hot glued everything on my cast.

Oh, no! I'm so sorry to hear about your ankle. What a beautiful pink cast with all of it's pretty ribbons, trims, buttons, and brads. Should we give you the award for the most creative Altered Item idea? I love it, Cheryl. Hope you are feeling better each day!

I agree with Charlene! You get the award for creativity! You've certainly made the best of the situation with your beautifully decorated cast. Love how it matches your nail polish.

I also broke my ankle and had to have screws placed-so I definitely sympathize:( I broke mine roller skating with my daughter at a PTA skating party!! I never had a cast that looked this pretty though!

It's the most beautiful cast ever! But I can't imagine crafting from bed, even to the point of using a glue gun! You are a brave and talented soul. Get better soon.
