SNSS and The Twinery are blog hopping today, and this is my card. I stamped the Light of Christmas background on a cream panel and sponged the edges. I die cut the candle image, stamped it, and colored it with Copics. It's popped up on a bit of foam tape. Because I used cream card stock and the colors in my patterned paper were cream, I wanted my twine to be a bit "dirtier" than the usual gorgeous Charcoal color. I flipped over an ink pad and ran it over my twine until I achieved the desired aged look!
Supplies:
Stamps: Christmas Light, Light of Christmas (SNSS)
Card Stock: Black (Recollections), Cream (Prismatics)
Patterned Paper: Webster's Pages
Ink: Tuxedo Black (Memento); Antique Linen, Brushed Corduroy (Ranger)
Coloring Medium: Copics
Accessories: Charcoal Twine (The Twinery), button
Tools: Christmas Light Candle Die (SNSS)
