At the sweet invitation of a dear friend, I have been "churching" online for almost a year now. I even got a note of encouragement from the pastor which was passed on to me from my friend. I wanted to say thanks to this pastor for encouraging me and of course make the card personal. Because of my location, I could only listen to the sermons online and not join in on the "live streaming". However, technology finally brought that my way and the first sermon I got to see had the pastor decked out in a T shirt that read "God is God, I am Not" The sermon was about the humbling and restoration of the proud Babylonian king Nebucudnezzar. The pastor said if he ever got a personal license plate it would read GIG IAN (God is God, I am Not)!!! So, I made this card complete with directions for life with God and a personal plate, too!!! I saw this cool sentiment arrangement while visiting Kathrin aka Kreumel's blog. Hopefully this will link you up to the project she did: http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-N-IgLk842-...ten%2B2064.JPG

Wow - wow - wow! You completely nailed this "make it personal" challenge - the whole retro look, the cute license plate, the meaningful sentiment, the fun VW bus, it's all fabulous, and you've put so much thought and creativity into designing it! And you know what, I needed to be reminded today - GIG IAN!!!!
