I love the inspiration challenges - the hostesses ALWAYS seem to dig up the best inspiration on the net! In this case I was inspired to play with paint in order to get the contrast from my inspiration piece: http://www.2modern.com/modern-furnit...tched-Wall-Art
Both cards are 3x3 in size (with a 2 1/2 x 2 1/2 square created from a clear block & paint on the inside for writing your message). On the left card I used a deep yellow acrylic paint which I think best mimics the original design but lost it's 'clean lines'. On the right card I opted for a medium more stamp friendly: Paint Daubers. The Paint Dauber helped to retain the clean lines but I lost the golden color since I only had 'snow' as an option in my supplies. All in all I actually love them both! When you do this - give your cards plenty of time to dry though.
Enjoy!

These are great - very calming and peaceful. Love the sentiments.
