Congratulation's Sue (bensarmom) on being this weeks featured stamper. I loved looking through your beautiful gallery - amazing number of lovely creations. I cased this CAS beach scene of Sue's Card Ministry September 2010
I received my image from Kathy McDaniels (kathymcdaniels) earlier this year. Today was the perfect time to use it. (Thanks Kathy). I water coloured the image with Tombow and Stampin up markers. Sponged edges. Matted with burgundy and a soft blue. Sewed around image. Stamped the cheeseclosth backgrounder on kraft cardstock, using Vintage Sepia ink and clear embossed. Cut into three strips and layered over the textured white base card.
Enjoy your time in the spotlight, Sue. You are very deserving of this honor.
Hugs..Pat

Pat this is a gorgeous card and sentiment. I said, "Wow" when I saw this in the gallery. I love your coloring and your sentiment. Thank you for helping me celebrate being featured stamper.

Ooh, I love this sentiment...probably b/c I grew up in a house...near Lake Erie. Which is, a very big lake. Not a sea...but it had so many of the same changes and wonders and comforts.

What an interesting image, pat. I've always said that everything we've rented an oceanfront home. There is nothing better than sitting on the front porch listening to the sounds of the ocean. For that reason, I totally relate to your beautiful card. I love how you've colored your house with its red roof. Peace and tranquility abound with this one, girl.
