Very interesting sketch today! At first it seems simple, but those angles at the top and bottom got a little tricky when I wanted to add a narrow layer.
For my monochromatic card, I stamped the quote from Our Daily Bread designs, die cut it along w/ a ridged grey layer. They're attached to a labels 17 die cut stamped w/ a fancy label image. I used some stripe dp for my bg panel and used a Scor-Buddy to add some scored diagonal lines on the right card front.
The dahlia is a new EK Success punch. You punch a long line then roll it up to create the flower. I made a Faux Brad out of the grey for the flower center and added a few branches. The finished card is 5.5 x 4.25.
Thanks so much for looking! It'll be blogged in just a sec. The Write Stuff

This is beautiful Julie and how clever to do the embossing on the one angle. I may have to lift that idea sometime! I very much agree the angles did cause a challenge so it made me really think. It was like a geometry problem but with much better results. I loved the monochromatic look you achieved.
