For Toni's "What's Hot?" ways to use it challenge... We've had our share of heat this summer but it's been tempered with some cooler, rainy weather as well. This prompted my cooler fern card using HEAT embossing...
The fern was clear embossed then brayered in pear pizzazz and old olive with a bit of black sponged on the bottom. More ferns were stamped with old olive and pear. I meant to cut the panel evenly but made a mistake in measuring so did 3 slightly different sizes. I kind of like it this way. It's hard to see in my pic but there is a black ribbon under the panel tied with cotton crochet thread to the side. Sentiment is a retired rub-on from SU!
Enjoy the day and stay cool! (Except for Toni ;)!)

Very pretty colors; love that sponged black at the bottom! Nice brayering, I've never tried that yet-kinda nervous about it. Lol I also like the clear embossed ferns!

Oooh, this "cool" card is sooo pretty! The panels are great the way they are, and they remind me of a cool misty woods. (Yeah, I know the challenge is about heat, but I'll take cool whenever I can get it.)

Oh my! I was waiting to see this as it came up blank originally. It was definitely worth the wait. So serene and beautiful. It would be awesome framed!
