For Toni's "What's Hot?" ways to use it challenge... We've had our share of heat this summer but it's been tempered with some cooler, rainy weather as well. This prompted my cooler fern card using HEAT embossing...
The fern was clear embossed then brayered in pear pizzazz and old olive with a bit of black sponged on the bottom. More ferns were stamped with old olive and pear. I meant to cut the panel evenly but made a mistake in measuring so did 3 slightly different sizes. I kind of like it this way. It's hard to see in my pic but there is a black ribbon under the panel tied with cotton crochet thread to the side. Sentiment is a retired rub-on from SU!
Enjoy the day and stay cool! (Except for Toni ;)!)

This is really pretty! Your brayering and sponging is really fabulous. When I look at your images it seems as though I see just a bit of sun filtering down on them. Really great job. TFS

What a really beautiful triptych. For me it evokes the smell of walking through tall bracken in the fields above the cottage where we used to holiday when we were little - a *green* smell.
