I actually made a card during Roxie's Queendom. However, it was a birthday card for my brother-in-law, and I mailed it without taking a picture. Soooo, there has been a major delay in participating in the QFTD68 reign of Queen Roxie. As everyone knows, Roxie's cards are gorgeous creations into which she puts much effort, care, and skill. I do not possess Roxie's skill. I can hardly follow her textbook quality instructions she includes with each card. But I know that I love her work.
In order to participate, I had to hunt for something that I could make a simple version of and have it look something like Rox's card. So I chose her Dainty Daisy card. Hers is lovely in the pretty blue, black and white she chose. I was in a bold color mood, so I chose a color that probably doesn't have a name (neon purple/violet???). I pretty much kept the layout. No doubt Roxie made her flower. Mine was made by Prima. My card has no scoring (other that the fold line) and no masking. I did do piercing and gluing. Rox said her card was simple, but I'm sure it wasn't as simple as my version. LOL.
Love your work, Rox. Love, love, love it. And your talent is amazing. I admire your skill and effort put into your cards. And I enjoy coming across your creations in card magazines.
Belated congrats on being Queen 68.
And TFL.
