This is for many of the Dare to Get Dirty challenges. The Dirty girls have so many awesome challenges for Fan Club members. I'm trying hard to participate in all of them, but I've had a busy week and then this weekend I'm working the Rubbernecker booth at the Novi, MI Paper Arts Festival [if any of you SCSers attend the event, be sure to introduce yourself!]
This first picture is my entire scene showing my decorated envelope, my card, and my inspiration piece from my home, which is a red cardinal and ivory placemat.
I have more details about how I made my card in the other photo showing my card only, if you're interested.

Wow! You have totally rocked on the recreation of your inspiration placemat! This is such a refreshing peek at winter ... much needed time-out thoughts here in this heat too. Beautiful work, my dear! Thanks for playing in my challenge!

Wowzer, Charlene, that is totally and utterly beautiful. There isn't a single detail I don't like, but I think my favourite is that little red flower with the white rose centre - sweet.
