This was for yet another fun t-pot tuesday challenge. which was to use gingerbread on it, like a gingerbread man or house , or candy...etc...My first Christmas card this year...A good time to start.
Every other time I made a gingerbread man it came out of the oven...lol....love to bake...lol....never one with paper before...lol...was kinda fun. So I started with drawing him , decorating him and thought I would add some candy cane resemblance on the bottom. Gots to thinking it would be fun with a bit of snow...lol...and we had to dress our guy fancier so how best to do all that...(GLITTER)...yah another excuse to use it...my fav, if you dont know me by now...lol.
so I used my edge punch set that on top of my cut colored layers, and added the glitter to it andhis buttons ., put the sentiment JOY in the corner and decided it needed just that touch more so added 3(heard theres this rule of three thing with art...lol) of my old stickers i have had for years since when y kids tried the chore chart...lol, knew these would some day come to use...lol.
yah that is all thanks so much for visiting...and merry Christmas in july...:0), I know it will come by so fst as time seems to do these days.

What a precious card! I soon as I saw those stars it brought back memories of Sunday School at Church when you would get those little stars for reading your lesson or some other things. Oh man, did it make you feel special when the chart in the room had stars by your name!

Hey! Two of my favorite-Gingerbread and Glitter, how could you go wrong. This is darling. Love the lace border on top of your candy cane paper. This is so cute - you did such a fab job and you drew your own Gingerbread-how cool is that!

This card rocks...I love the added little touch of glitter Wanda Wendy! Its so cute...and that fun striped paper puts the thought of candy canes into ones head! I can't believe all you teapotters than can draw...your gingerguy is to die for! Hey, look at you! You are like Hobby Lobby, got your Christmas stuff out for the picture! Whoot!
