This card was made for Kristyn's Mushroom Madness Swap. It finally gave me a chance to use a stamp I have had for ages and to put the charm to good use. I had so many ideas that I may have gone a bit overboard and overloaded the card. But it was fun to make.
I used standard bright green cardstock as the base and corner punch all the corners with EK success corner punch bubbles. I cut 4 pieces of smaller eggshell colored card stock and distressed it with Tim Holtz peeled paint and shabby shutters and inserted them into the corners on the outside and inside of the card. I cut the center pieces using the labels 4 nestabilities. I dry embossed the green cardstock using the CB folder Circles. The image was stamped on white in white and clear heat embossed. Then, using the nestability as a stencil, the piece was distressed using barn door. Foam dots helped give it the raised effect. The ribbon and charm are from my stash.
I can't wait to see what cards I will be getting from the swap.
Thanks for looking!
