Hello everyone! Today's Free For All is a fun one! Wendy directed us to a great site that lists all sorts of bizarre and unique holidays, and we were to select one for July and create a card for it. While Independence Day would be an obvious one... she said that would be too easy! If you'd like to see the list for July and enjoy a good laugh, check it out here:http://holidayinsights.com/moreholidays/july.htm
I chose July 11.... cheer up the lonely day. So many of our elderly folks in our communities and churches are suffering with illness and depression, as well as lonliness! I made a bouquet of July Hydrangeas as a cheer you up card.
This is made with the July release from ODBD Hydrangea, which is a single stamp in the "Garden Collection". I colored with Copics and cut out. I made the vase by drawing it, cutting it out and embossing with a Sizzix ef and sponging. The sentiment is from Mini Tags 1 and is cut with Spellbinders Ribbon Tag Trio 3. The dp is Kaisercraft and the base is Mellow Moss.
