These are the daubers I made suggested by Ms. Kim Teasdale. The black plastic holders are from the hardware store and the sponges I used are just dollar store. I am a hard dauber kind of person so these are beaten up by me.

So, what exactly are the holders? Are they plastic piping that you had to cut or were they already like that? I have been wanting to do this myself.

Sorry I did not respond sooner. Those are the feet you get to put on the bottom of a TV tray or metal leg. They can be bought at the hardware store. The film canisters is a great idea too. They would be just a little longer and might not fit in the bead case I use to store these in.
What a great idea! Did you just stuff the sponge in whole, or did you have to cut them down? I love that you put the color names on them! I use the makeup sponges, but they don't seem to last very long, so I end up going through them pretty fast. Thanks for sharing!
