My dear daughter-in-law got sick on their anniversary last week and had surprise surgery over the weekend. I made this card to hopefully cheer her up. She's a papercrafter, too. Maybe this will inspire her to get well soon so she can "get back to the business" of being a mom and doing something creative.
I used the layout on the Verve Challenge for this week and was inspired to use a blend of my old and new papers after reading the challenge on The Shabby Tea Room. Their challenge was to use some traditional polka dot and/or gingham paper along with an inspiring photo of pink and green beautiful cupcakes.

What a cheerful, sweet combo of papers and colors! I love how you used both the gingham and polka-dots! Sure to cheer up your daughter-in-law. Hope she's feeling better soon!
